Bfp a week ago now slight bleeding

advice needed. Was very happy to get a positive a week ago after a mmc last month at about 7 weeks. Am starting to spot now, bright blood, no cramps ;I am only a couple of weeks gone, is it happening again?

There is really no way of knowing which way it will go at the moment -I've had miscarriages with bleeding as you describe and also pregnancies that have gone to term with same sort of bleeding. So its a waiting game really. Has your hosp got an early pregnancy unit that you could ring? Bad time of year at the moment for getting checked out I suppose. The doctor did say to me that pain ie cramps was a more important indicator of miscarriage than spotting so thats good news. Take care and I hope all turns out well x

Thank you for your reply x I think I am hyper sensitive about it because I had a miscarriage last time :( . Spotting mostly when I wee ,uncomfortable feeling not really bad. I think I will wait it out and phone the pregnancy clinic if I am still concerned as you suggested as have the number from last time xx

I feel for you because I know it becomes a checking obsession every time you go to the loo!! Been there. done that 6 times!! 3 I lost and 3 made it!

I think its wise to wait it out for a while as really at this stage there is nothing you or anyone else can do to alter the outcome - que sera sera - whatever will be will be! Hope it works out well for you! Good luck!

How many weeks do you think you are? I had a mc in July, am now pregnant again but at 6 weeks I had bright red spotting as you describe and panicked that it was happening again. It was at the weekend so I rested up and went to see my gp first thing monday morning, he managed to get me a scan booked for the next day where luckily we saw a tiny baby with a heartbeat. The bleeding did tail off although I did get cramping on and off for a while, still not sure what caused it though. Got my 12 week scan in a couple of days, really nervous, but hopefully all will still be well. Hopefully it'll be something similar for you, I found the gp very kind and understanding even though it was so early so don't worry about bothering them, and good luck.

puzzletree i am only about 2 weeks judging by last period. so too early for a scan, i had to have scans at 6 weeks last time as i had severe cramping but no blood, they found a heartbeat but when i went for my 12 week scan the baby had stopped growing not long after that. it may just be a waiting game , not sure if i can go through all that again
