Hi

I had a natural miscarriage 2 nights ago,I would have been 16+5 weeks pregnant. The consultant seemed to think the baby died soon after my 12 week scan.
Since last night I have had achy thighs like I have done too much exercise...has anyone else had this? No other symptoms like fever etc..just the aches.
Thanks

Hi shanks

So sorry to hear about your loss.

I had a miscariage at twelve weeks and although I didn't have achy thighs I did have uncontrolable shaking.

I asked the doctor at the emergency gynaecology clinic about this and she told me that the cervix is connected to a major nerve network, (can't remember which one now) and that when the cervix is forced to open (when something tries to pass though it) it can cause all sorts of pain in the connected nerves.

In the week or so after I had aching arms like I'd lifted something heavy. I don't know if what you are feeling is the same thing but I hope this information is helpful.

Hi shanks

So sorry for your loss.

I had a missed M/C in july and had achy everywhere about a day after i passed the sac. Uncontrollable shakes like sazzel and aches like the flu.

Hope this helps.

I am so sorry to hear about all of your losses Sad

I gave birth to my baby at 18+4 weeks on October 25th, and he died very shortly after. Apart from the emotional agony, I had pains everywhere, which I put down to the terrible grief. Night sweats, achy legs, achy arms, and I had what felt like 'ghost' baby kicks for a couple of weeks. I was a physical wreck. Not sure if caused by psychological trauma?

Hugs to all x
