I had a natural miscarriage at the start of November when I was 6 weeks. Heavy bleeding etc for about a week. Then everything settled. But since last weekend I have been continually spotting. It is really starting to get me down. It is not heavy but I do need to wear a pad. It seems to be constant. At first I thought it was my period but it does not seem to be heavy enough and is not changing. There is no smell. I do not have any pain. What do you think I should do? Is this normal? Thanks for reading.

So sorry for your loss lemon. I've never had an MC myself, but my understanding is that it is possible that not all the "products" were passed initially. I think that you probably ought to see your GP. Did you have any medical attention when you had your MC? It might be that you need to have a scan to check that there is nothing retained that needs to be removed.

I'm sure someone who actually knows what they are talking about will be along soon.

Sorry about your loss Lemon. I had a miscarraige in June at 11+ weeks and I bled for over a week then it stopped then had spotting just like you which i thought was my period too. This eventually stopped then about a couple of weeks later I got my period. If you are concerned even just to put your mind at rest go to your GP.

Tried going to the GP today but no appointments need to call up on Monday. Hoping it is normal. Just am worried it could be retained products.

Fingers crossed that it's all normal and you get an appointment on Monday.

Were you told to take a preganancy test two weeks after your miscarriage? I was told by the EPU that if it was positive it was an indication that I hadn't miscarried completely and to go back.

I did do that but it has been slowly getting paler, been using the cheap pregnancy tests off ebay. Now at the point the line is so faint that you can only just see it but a couple of weeks ago was really strong. Got told to see how it went and they seemed happy that I had been having a week of bleeding quite heavily that I did not have anything to worry about.
