I am sharing my strange story with you in the hope it well help or i will find an answer.

I have just discovered i had m/c.

This is how my story begins.

My last period was from the 31st october - 5th November
I started to spot/bleed on sunday the 13th
I took a pregnancy test that evening - faint positive
Monday 14th - Positive
Phoned the doctor and explained everything and she said i was making everything up as my dates didnt match!
I arranged for a blood test on the wednesday, took another test before i went in the afternoon - result 1-2 weeks
Hcg blood result 18ml?
I went for another blood test on the friday and waited anxiously all weekend until monday.
Result 9ml - m/c

I am due on my period in 7 - 8 days.

What i dont understand is why my body even showed a positive on home pregancy tests when i was still 13days from my period and it was only 18ml of hcg in my system.

This still had an upsetting result and i was wondering if anyone had a similar story or an understandable explaination for me as doctors and other health care providers didnt.

I also havnt been checked or anything since.

Sorry for what you are going through....this is my guess at what is going on:

Your last period wasn't a period but implementation bleeding. You were then pregnant but it was a chemical pregnancy and the HCG levels rose for a bit and then fell. Once you get back close to zero HCG then you will start to miscarry. (A chemical pregnancy is a very early miscarriage before anything can be seen on the scan.)

What was your period like....was it any different to normal? Often implantation bleeding is lighter and shorter than a normal period but not always. Did you feel pg at all? Tired, nauseous, cramps?

Unfortunately, falling HCG is not a good sign. Fingers crossed I am wrong. x

Hiya, my last period wa normal and the spotting was no where near a period, I did feel pregnant with sore breasts, nausea and sooo sleepy! i had slight cramps like period pains but not as painful, its all very odd.
Im due on in a few days but if my hcg level was only 9 on friday then by now there shouldnt be anything but i havnt had any bleeding or pain.
