REALLY heavy period post ERPC

Hiya,
Had MC in September, then used expectant management - ended up having an ERPC a few weeks ago.
So Friday I got my period (brilliant) - but it is VERY Heavy and VERY painful - is this normal?
This is the worst priod I've ever had, I've never experienced anything like it!

Any advice appreciated.

Sorry about your loss, I have just had my second mc and they told me to expect the next period to be very heavy, more so than usual and also to expect further clots to pass during that period.

I conceived my DD straight after my first mc so never experienced the period afterwards, but am preparing myself for a very heavy one this time.

I too was warned this could happen. Hope it's all over soon

I recently had my 3rd surgical management for miscarriage. This week I had my 2nd menstruation after mc and had also extremely heavy period with huge clots, much stronger than after the previous ones. I hope that the next periods will be not as bad. I hope the same for you, Tw1nkle.
