RMC after DC, what could it be?

I've just been turned down by the RMC Clinic. Because of my history (40 years old, 3DC, 4MC of which 3 consecutive in last year, no conception issues so far) they say they expect me to go on to have a successful pregnancy.
I suppose that's encouraging and I know I'm getting on and that these things just happen but what if there is a reason for it, a condition I did not have before, and after a few more MC we finally get seen and they say "take aspirin" or somesuch and we could have saved ourselves the heartbreak and disappointment.
I can't make heads or tails of the long RMC thread so I'm asking what sort of things could be causing this after DC other than the total decrepitude of my womb?
