Please help heart breaking

I had an ms in July.it was long and bloody. I am maybe three months pregnant again and I have been having wind like cramps for weeks. Went to the dr twice but told nothing to do unless bleeding. I went to the loo this am and I am. I just can't lose this baby. I dot want to go to the hospital, I am too scared. It was such a terrible experience last time. I just want to stop it happening. My poor husband is beside himself. We have a beautiful two year old. I just desperately wanted another, so so much. Am so sad, so scared.

I am so so sorry for you and understand completely why you are afraid.. are you bleeding a lot?

Just suffered a mmc on fri. I am no expert but if you are bleeding for you own sake please contact your midwife and or women's health unit. For your own health you need to know whats happening and they can help you both from there. There is also a chance it's just one of things. But I know how you feel I really do. Just please get some help and make sure you have someone with you. If you want a private chat let me know.

Have an unmumsnetly hug, and get seen. Gas pain is normal in pregnancy, bleeding is not unusual, but either way, its better to know and be taken care of than be worried and alone.

Thinking of you and really hope it's not what you fear. Please get yourself examined.

Dh and I not dealing v well wi this though. I went out dancing few weeks ago and he worried that caused it to start. Asked gp and he said if happens at this stage is genetic and nothing I have done cld have caused it or cld stop it now. But dh says pains were fate night out and now I am worried this is my fault which is an unbearable thought. I know dh just looking for something to hang it on and he has taken it back, said sorry etc but now it is in my head driving me crazy!

Gp is right and a bit of dancing would not cause this. Can you ring women's health unit? They have emergency slots available for this sort of thing. Please don't beat yourself up honestly, there is nothing you have done Hun. Like you say hubby is hurting that's all but you need to be strong together at the moment.

Dancing wouldn't cause it. Some women are skiing and riding without knowing they're pregnant. Lots of women jog until late in pregnancy.

How frightening for you, but for your own health and safety as well as peace of mind you need to go and get yourself checked out.

Lots of women bleed in early in pregnancy and it means nothing- I did. I hope it is the same for you xxxx

Nothing you have done has caused this.
The Lesley Regan book on miscarriage says it takes a very big insult indeed to disrupt a healthy pregnancy. Please don't blame yourself.

Can you self refer to an EPU near you? I am so sorry this happening to you

Thanks guys that helps so much. Turned down at two epau dr says have to wait until tmrw so just trying not to dwell. Apparently my situation does not warrant emergency scan?

Just wanted to say I understand how scary it is I had the same last September it didn't end well for me but there are lots of women out there who have happy endings! Don't blame yourself these things unfortunatley do happen and there's nothing you can do to stop them but don't give up hope.

Hello people. Thank u so much for your ongoing support. Well I have had a scan and the baby looks fine. Nearly eleven weeks. They thought maybe it was late implantation bleeding? Is that possible seems very late to me! They said pain could be guts or growing. Advised no sex or lifting and sent me home. Not had any more bleeding but pain on and off. Trying very hard not to catastrophise. So want this baby.

Sorry for the delay in posting. I was terrified to look at anything with the word miscarriage on it after the scan, just blotted it out and stayed off work for the last week. It meant so much to have ur support though. Hopefully will not have to post any more signs or symptoms of mc now.

Great news - I was reading this and never managed to post. I'm very happy for you and hope all goes smoothly for you from now on with no more trauma!
