12 weeks later and no period

Hi,

I had my 2nd missed miscarriage this year in August (previous one in January). It's been exactly 12 weeks since EPRC and my period still hasn't shown up. I had a scan 2 weeks after to check all okay, which apparently was the case. In fact the doctor said I was about to ovulate! But why has my period not happened?

I've been to the GP twice but I keep being told not to worry, that they won't investigate until 5 monts after miscarriage. We're desperate to have another child (have a 3 year old, I know I'm lucky). I;ve been getting positive ovulation tests and each time 2 weeks later I get cramping, but no bleeding. Really worried it's Asherman's. Can anyone give me some advice or reassurance please?

i was in the same boat after my last miscarriage. it was 12 very long weeks before af came back. i was petrified of ashermans and contacted the experts who are discussed on the ashermans thread.

i had an erpc after my first mc and had medically managed for second mc but had to have the placenta removed in theatre so had cause for concern with ashermans.

my doctor was rubbish and wanted me to wait until no af for 6 months. in the end i went to accupuncture after seeing on here that they can bring on af. my af came back the next day - i couldn't believe it!

my next af came 27 days later. i am in my second proper cycle now since the mc in early july.

forgot to add - when you have ashermans they say you are having cycles but little/no blood can get out. i started temping to see if i was ov'ing.

definatley try accupunture though.

Thanks all for responding. Feel absolutely miserable at the moment, I swear it's PMT as keep crying and feeling snappy. Period should be due this weekend if ovualtion tests were correct. Have made an appointment with my GP for next week and am going to insist on a referral. I'll also try and get some acupuncture, although slightly nervous about that!
