Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Everything hurts!

I can't write much, I'm aching all over after miscarrying today. Is this normal? It doesn't help that I fainted and fell off the toilet this morning Shock and I seem to have hurt my shoulder. But I'm also feeling like I've over-stretched every muscle in my body. It's very painful and uncomfortable and even going for a wee hurts. I've taken some Vicodin we had left over from DP's broken ankle but it doesn't seem to have helped much.

Bit of a long day in the local hospital and I'm dreading going to bed cos it just hurts, all over! Not cramps but aches and twinges. Sad I was 7 weeks.

Oh you poor thing. I have no advice but just wanted to offer my sympathy. Sad

Thank you Selks, it is nice to get some virtual hand holding! I had a scan this morning that shows it was a miscarriage and there's nothing left, but there is a lot of fluid in my tum which is causing the pain there and in my shoulder yesterday (its gone today).

Now I know what is going on I do feel better. Thank you again Smile x

Really sorry to hear of your loss, I mc on Friday (well I'm almost certain I did, the doctors have told me to wait....again). I am aching all over and can't stop crying. The worst thing is I haven't been offered a scan at any point despite going to the doctors twice since I started bleeding last Weds. I was 7 weeks too - please can you let me know if you were referred for a scan by your GP or if you went to hospital independently?
Thankyou

So sorry you're going through this,I had a mc 4 weeks ago,I was 8 weeks,I was referred by my GP whan I started bleeding.

I hope you start to feel better soon, its an awful time. Wishing you and everyone else lots of luck in the future.

Aww.... Sorry for you guys too. It's just not nice is it?

wanttobe. I don't know how it works in different areas. My GP referred me to the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit at our local hospital but said they don't usually see people before 7 weeks (I was 6+5 when I called him). I was already booked in when I had the bad episode on Sunday so kept the appointment for today. Maybe ask your GP to refer you or call your midwife team? Having to wait is the worst! The alternative is to show up at A&E and they will likely refer you to gynaecology.

Sending lots of hugs to you all and plenty of Brew, or Wine if you can! x
