St George's, Guy's or King's?

Hello all, just wondering if anyone has any advice?
GP has offered all 3 on choose and book and has no particular recommendation.

St george's seems to be the only specialist rec miscarriage clinic, the others are all subfertility or gynae departments.

Just wondering if any had a better reputation than others?

My losses are very early 5ish week mark so am wondering if a subfertility unit is the better way to go as I think this is implantation failure (I suspect hormone problem but who knows)

Any experience gratefully received!

What about st mary's? They're the most well known.

I went to st mary's privately after being disappointed at king's - poor communication, felt dismissed, was obvious that they wouldn't do the more expensive tests (eg hsg) that were standard at st mary's. Not a specialist recurrent m/c clinic.

Thanks Dozer, that is really helpful, that is my concern about being referred to general gynae units.

I might push for a referral straight there, I have heard they are excellent.

Hi farfalla, yes, am ok, they didn't find anything definite but did have some progesterone and clexane and after one more mc had dd2 a year ago! Feel very very lucky and grateful.

Really hope you get some good help soon.

Thanks for the update Dozer, I have had my first appointment with Raj Rai privately, I was quite impressed. Waiting for tests and ultra sound but he did suggest progesterone to me. He also looked at some basic tests my GP had done and said my thyroid might be an issue (its in the normal range but high end of normal) So looks to me like my issue is hormonal, but lets see!
