Due date today :(

Today would have been my due date, but I have already had my baby.
I found out I had had a mmc in March, at 13 weeks, and then had my 3rd medically managed mc.
Just feeling very sad and empty today. Felt I needed to post so that her due date wouldn't go unnoticed.
We called her Flora.
Everybody seems to be pregnant at the moment, and for the first time I am really not dealing well with pg ladies and new babies.
My neighbour had a baby boy 3 days ago, and I can see a big blue banner every time I leave the house.
Sorry for being so maudlin, but just feeling pretty crap just now.

I'm so sorry to hear of your pain.
It is completely natural that you should want to mark today.
I'm very sorry to hear that people around are having babies, especially your next door neighbour, but I also hope that today's passing helps you to move on and look to the future.

So sorry for your loss. Flora is a beautiful name. I can't imagine how you must feel, but I'm sure you're right to mark the occasion.

So sorry - not had my due date yet so not sure how it feels but I imagine it will be a sad day. Already started making sure I am busy around then to take my mind of it. Hope you feel better soon. x

I lit a candle and had some quiet time and a cry.

It really is one day at a time.

It's my due date today and it appears my experience is very similar to yours - a mmc discovered at the end of March at 16+1 after a great 12 week scan.

I feel strangely numb today, even though the thought of this day has consumed all thoughts for weeks.

I'm going out later to buy a peace lily to mark this day for my little boy, and I'm hoping, in time, that's what I'll find - peace.
