Havent had sex for about 4 months, dd is 5 months old and when she was about a monthh old I had that 'wierd' feeling Ive had before Ive mc (Ive had 4 before). I did a test (negative) and mentioned it to the mw but she reassured me that it was very unlikely so soon after dds birth and it was probably just my period comming and body adjusting etc so i thought nothing of it and nothing came of it.

Just now however (at the start of my period) a lump of fatty looking skin/grissle, Im not sure really, came out. similar to what has happened after some of my mcs so could this be the same? or is it something completly different?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks

I'm so sorry, I have no idea. For your own peace of mind, I think you should ask your GP or a midwife.

Are you feeling ok?

Hey I have had this before and definitely wasn't pregnant. Apparently it is womb lining that hasn't broken down properly. It is a bit scary and grim, I agree.

Maybe you should go to your GP, just to set your mind at ease?

Thankyou both of you, Im feeling ok really just a few cramps and a little sick

ex's at work (we still live together so hes my main man at the mo) so i messaged him and hes just rung to see if i was ok, his reaction cheered me up a bit. I worded it pretty badly so for a sec he thought i was pregnant again and was a little shocked to say the least! was lovely when he realised what had actualy happened though and were going to talk about it properly tomorow when he gets home.

I probably will go to the GP yes, just to put my mind at ease, I know itll bug me til I know. Ive never heard of the womb lining thing before, Id feel much better if it turned out to be that, as discusting as it is!

Hi I am so glad you mentioned this cos I had this last week. I mentioned it to doctor and she didn't really seem very bothered. My period has started now so its stopped. my son was born sleeping 8 weeks ago and I bled for 6 weeks stopped and then had the gristle stuff. Doctor is sending me for scan as I've bled so much so maybe they'll tell me what it was then
