confused

I found out I am pregnant on 1st of may by taking clearblue digital test which was indicating 2-3 weeks. I had my lmp end of march but not sure when exactly.
We had a condom accident on 10th of april and had a digital test on 17th april which was negative.
Had unprotective sex on 24th of april as we realised we wanted a new baby.
I started spotting on 15th may and went for a scan and baby measured 5 weeks with no heartbeat. I told the sonographer that I should be 7 weeks and she said if you are sure of your dates then I am sure but this baby stopped growing at 5 weeks. I havent had bleeding but just spotting and it stopped now. I still feel pregnant but as the test indicated 2-3 weeks when I had it second time then I conceived 10th of april? If I conceived 24th of april then the test should have indicate 1-2 weeks? I dont know what to think. I have another scan booked on 1st of june. I am getting my hopes up as I didnt pass the baby yet nor have any bleeding but should I get my hopes up or expect the worst?

I'm so sorry this has happened to you, this also happened to me and i too didnt pass the baby. I was so confused and angry and wanted them to check again, but it wasnt a mistake. You should prepare yourself for the fact that there's a good chance that this wee baby has just stopped growing at 5 weeks. It doesnt make it any easier though. These tests all go on the level of hormones that are in your system and thats not exactly a science, these things are quite hard to work out.
