Cycle after ERPC

I wondered if anyone could let me know their experiences...

I had an ERPC after a mmc on 8/4/11 and then had to have a second ERPC on 29/4/11 due to "retained products". I understand it can take 4-6 weeks for your period to arrive after the ERPC. Does that mean I count from the second ERPC or the first? I had a negative pregnancy test after the first ERPC.

I would expect that you take it from the second erpc, but I'm no expert by any means and have just had the one myself. Can you ring your dr for clarification or even the gyno ward? My gyno ward gave me their number in case I had any problems or queries as they would still consider me to be their patient.

Thank you - that sounds like a good idea. I think I'm just desperately trying to find something positive to look forward to at the moment!
