Mothers' Day and Miscarriage

I'm dreading Mothers' Day this year. I can't believe another year will go by and I'm not a mother to a child.

I have been a mother though, for 20 weeks, during my 3 pregnancies. No one in RL sees me as a mother, but I was.

Yes, you were a mother. And hopefully you will be again. I'm so sorry it's been so tough for you.

My second loss would have been due this month, loss number 1 would have been due late January (I actually ended up in hospital the weekend that one would have been due - to say goodbye to a dying father-figure and family friend). I'm planning on a combination of hibernation and drunken stupor for the whole weekend and about to temp block for the weekend every mummy on my FB friends to stop the copy and paste status barrages.

You do whatever you need to do to survive the hideous pink-ness.

I've been re-routing through our local Tesco for at least a fortnight, cutting down the knicker aisle to avoid the barrage of mummy shit at the entrance. Make a point of muttering loudly as I pass customer service that I'm having to DO that as well.

Waiting for the copy paste facebook shit to start now - and would quite like to install a drawbridge and moat filled with crocodiles for the remainder of April till the due date's over with.
