I dont really expect any replies, just need to get this down.

I have had 3 cycles of fertility treatment, first negative, the second a chemical pregnancy, then a natural pregnancy (our first ever!) which ended at 5 weeks, and recently our last cycle.

I got a positive, but have started bleeding and cramping heavily today. It's exactly like the previous two. Another chemical pregnancy.

I dont know where to go from here - we have had the tests, and there is nothing that showed up as causing miscarriage. Just bad luck. We were 'lucky' to get the tests after our second loss, mainly thanks to a consultant that wanted our treatment to work.

Unfortunately, we have no chance of conceiving naturally, and the NHS wont fund any more cycles of treatment. So with the end of this pregnancy, I have to face the fact that I will probably never have children.

Sometimes life is really shitty.

That really is awful. So sorry for you. I don't know what else to say but it must be terrible for you to think that yet again your hopes have been lost after all that you have gone through to get there.
If you had a natural pregnancy how do you know you have no chance of conceiving naturally? Would love to think that was not the case but assume you have good reasons for saying that.
It must be so hard. I have had one MC and that broke my heart.
Can your consultant really do no more for you? It is so very unfair and if the NHS wont pay, the costs of more treatment are more than most can afford. So shitty indeed.

Thanks for the reply kat

Between the natural pregnancy and my final cycle I had a laparoscopy - one fallopian tube removed as it was infected, and the other is apparently blocked.
So no chance of natural conception, and my consultant thinks our natural BFP may have been ectopic.

I hope something can be done, we will have a follow up appointment next month, but it looks like we are going to be childless. :(

How awful, you have been through the whole run of bad luck and crap. If you can't have any more IVF are you thinking of adoption? Am aware it isn't the solution for everyone.
Really hoping that something good can happen for you. It's awful that some people have to go through all this.
