Bleeding following miscarrige

Yesterday I started my first AF following my miscarrige. The thing is I am bleeding so much it is flowing out of me. Is this normal? Also will I get my lighter ones back?

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I think a heavy period is quite normal after miscarriage. I would imagine it will be back to normal by your next period.

Hugs Beabea. Yes I also had a very heavy period after MC - things will settle down in a while. I had a couple of heavy days - then it wansn't as bad.

So sorry to hear of your m/c.

It is very normal. i have been through this 5 times now and have just finished my latest A/F after m/c on sept.2nd.
It will settle down. I bled for 8 days and normally it lasts about 4 days 5 max.
Take it easy, you will be fine.

I had a very heavy period after a mc about two years ago. It also seemed to go on for ages.

The following month I was pregnant again.

yes, quite normal to have heavy period - just your body sorting itself out. You may find it settles down again tomorrow, or the next day.

If you are worried, give the miscarriage association a call, they are very nice & helpful
