need some advise please.

I had a miscarriage 42 days ago and have no sign of period yet. I have had a few pregnancy symptoms such as sickness and blocked sinus's. I did a test on sat but negative. Just wondering if anyone has become pregnant straight after a miscarriage? I had a miscarriage before my ds and my period came back on time and then became pregnant again. Thanks

Hi Shorty I'm very sorry for your loss I know how painful it is waiting for your first AF.

I had a mc in January and it took 5 weeks before my AF came, I was panicking the whole time as I got my AF 3 weeks after both of my two previous mc. I did contact the hospital as I was extremely anxious thinking my body wouldn't get back to normal and they said it can take anything up to 8 weeks. Also, lots of ladies do get pregnant before their first AF so that is definitely posible. If you are concerned I would contact your GP but they will probably advise you to wait and say its your body getting back to normal if you are still geting BFN. Hope this helps. Thanks for your response, feel a bit in no mans land at the moment and dh has said he doesn't want to talk about it because doesn't want to become attached again, so feel a little on my own at the moment. Going to do another test on sat and will go to the doctors next week if still negative.

My first AF didn't come until 7 wks after mc. If you are getting BFNs then at least that means that your body is getting back to normal and that AF should be along shortly.

Well I have done another test this morning as feeling very ill and wanted to make sure before took anything other than paracetamol. Still negative, I know my hormone levels are back to normal as they had returned back to negative just 4 days after bleeding started. Thanks for messages x
