What tests do RMC do different to consultant?

Hi everyone
I have already had lots of tests done after my third mc and my consultant doesn't think any other test can be done. He has referred us to the repeat miscarriage clinic but the waiting list is 6 weeks. Does anyone know whether a repeat miscarriage clinic will do different tests and is it worth getting referred to St Marys if they do other tests to the norm?

The tests I have already had are:

Progesterone testing prior to pregnancy
Lupus
Thyroid
German Measles/toxoplasmosis/STDs
Blood clotting
Karyotyping from me and dh

I already have 2dc with straight forward deliveries so our consultant doesn't think I need a laparoscopy.

bty all tests came back clear!

Hi, Just read your post which was quite helpful to me I am waiting to hear back from the rmc for my appointment and as you said 6wks of waiting. So thank you for posting as I now know what tests to expect.

Does anyone know whether they will do LH/FSH and AMH testing as standard, as I am almost forty three?

The doctor seemed to think the RMC clinic won't, but will the GP?

lucky these are the tests you should be asking for here even if you have had some of them done before. results can vary massively in a short space of time. some of them should be repeated, make sure this gets done.

hairy can you ask your gp to do the tests anyway? always worth a shot.
