worried about a friend

My friends was 6/7 weeks pregnant and started bleeding over the weekend, she went to hospital and had a scan today to confirm she had a miscarriage but shes just told me they said she could be having an eptopic pregnancy.

I really dont know anything about this but isnt that life threatning? shouldnt they be doing something to check? Is there anything they can do?

The medical people will have this under control. They will be checking her hcg levels and ensuring that she knows she must get help immediately if she has any symptoms of an ectopic.

Thankyou, shes said shes got to take a pregnancy test tomorrow and ring them with the results. I know shes in safe hands but cant help but worry.

It is a worrying time, but now that they know there is an issue, you can be sure they will monitor her - it's dangerous when undiagnosed.
