Strange MC tissue - help?

SleepyCaz · 01/01/2011 13:50

Am at the end of MC at 7 weeks. Been managing it at home.

Just passed collapsed pregnancy sac and some other tissue.

One lump of tissue was hard and grainy/gritty. Sort of beigey pink in colour.

Any idea what this could have been? Am very worried.

TIA

SC

If you're worried, maybe you should keep a sample and take it to the GP/EPU for analysis?

I had a molar pregnancy several years ago, and from a quick google (not really recommended...) it looks possible that molar tissue might fit your description, but I don't know personally as my molar pregnancy was dealt with in hospital. I also don't know what a 'normal' miscarriage looks like.

Thank you, expat :)

I agree with expat. Definately get it checked out.

Sorry for your loss, Sleepycaz. I had exactly the same in my loss at 7 weeks and it was the placenta. Dcotor confirmed it as that.

Take care.

Hideous though it is, I agree - keep the sample and get it and yourself checked just in case, even though LadyGoneGaga is probably absolutely right.

Very sorry for your loss. MCs are horrible, horrible things.

i had similar with my second mc.

i kept it and my gp sent it of for testing. came back as 'normal products of conception'
