My due date was 15th Dec so I have been thinking a lot lately about the whole experience and wanted to write a list of all of the memories I want to leave behind in this miserable year. Please feel free to add yours too!

Mine are all first times for things.

  1. First time I POAS
  2. First BFP
  3. First time in a private hospital
  4. First MMC
  5. First general aneasthetic
  6. First surgery
  7. First long term sick from work
  8. First experience of real physical pain
  9. First time I didn't want to hold a friends baby 10)First time I cried when a celeb lost a baby (Lily Allen)
  10. First due date

I'll probably add a few more as I think of them.

oh gosh velvet all of the above for me too :( except for number 8.

Here's hoping 2011 will bring our dreams into our realities.

my first due date would have been New Year's Eve.

My due date is 30th, us December thread refugees. It's been a shit year and I'm glad to leave it behind too. MC no. 3, hospitalised with it - twice, my lovely old cat died and DP just diagnosed with diabetes.

It can surely only get better? Let's hope so for us all.

A fair few of yours are on my list too, although my due date hasn't come round yet. It has been a horrible roller coaster year these last six months and I will be glad to see next year come round too. Hopefully with better luck for us all. I'm sure we all thought all the "first times" would be full of joy, first pregnancy, first experience of an ultrasound scan etc and so on.
Fingers crossed for a much happier new year

I'm so very sorry-I feel the same-just want this year over-can relate to everything on your list. Am looking forward to Christmas though (I thought I wouldn't be) as me and DH have had so much support from family and close friends.

I think it's best for us to 'stay positive'-ARRRGH-Have heard that alot recently! The New Year will bring us all some happiness and hope, I'm sure. Lots of happy thoughts your way xxxx

I really hope 2011 is a happy year for all of us.

This weekend is the first anniversary of my first MC. Last xmas was awful am determined this one will be better for the sake of my DD.

Have already been through one due date, got my next one in March.

I hope those with due dates this month are ok, I found the weeks leading up to it tough.

Fingers crossed for 2011 Smile

I'm totally with you on this velvet, 2010 will go down as the worst in my life so far. I mc back in May and my due date was 3 weeks ago. I know how you're feeling right now. I took 2 weeks off work at the time and now 6 months later I am having to take more time as I dont think I've really gotten over the mc. I cried too for Lily Allen but then I have been crying a lot over little things these days! I cant wait for 2010 to end and for 2011 to be a great year. I hope it is for all you lovely ladies too. :)
