Anyone had side effects with prednisolone?

After 4mc's, with dd (5 yrs old) in between, I am about to start treatment with predisolone and intralipids for my very high NK cells. Mine are about 643 and normal ones should be around the 200 mark.

It's a relief to finally have some answers, as all other tests have come back normal, but I am a bit anxious about the side effects that I may experience using these drugs..

Just wanted to know if anyone had a few symptoms or a really hard time with these treatments?

i took prednisolone for eight weeks and the side effects were not nearly as bad as our specialist warned us they might be. i got no extra body hair, no suicidal thoughts, no puffiness or unusual weight gain - all of which sounded horrible. however, i am a slightly scrawny type, not prone to water retention etc - a friend who was also taking them did 'puff up' quite visibly.
the main thing i got was awful insomnia, which is a very well known side effect. i am an extremely bad sleeper anyway, so i was an obvious candidate for additional sleep problems. i found that i would like awake for a couple of hours, generally between about 1am and 2.30/3am, and took a while to drop off to sleep as well. but overall it wasn't nearly as bad as i'd feared. hope it works for you.
