Hi all i previously posted on here about having trouble with my periods since EPRC in september this year just wondering as iv been on my period for 12 days now and the blood is actually black im wondering if this could be anything to do with the operation or a sign my body may be returning to normal?? So confused

Have you been to the doctors yet? Don't think I can offer any help but I had an erpc on 3 nov, bleed for a few days stopped and then started again. I went to the dr who gave me antibiotics which made me feel awful! I finished the course on Monday but am still bleeding but like you it's dark brown/black. Went back to the docs again and have been told to wait until Monday. Just want to get back to normal! How are you today?

hi sorry for the late reply, i have been referred back to hospital for another scan as they think 8weeks on my miscarriage may not be complete and they need to check they removed all the baby, as if it wasnt bad enough the first time :(

Hi Dolly, glad you went back to the docs, but sorry to hear that things still may not be over. It's the last thing you need, but going back for a scan will confirm things for sure. X
