Got my blood results today, and they are at 30...I have no idea what that means, but sounds really low to me? is this a sign of mc? if so I would rather know? so I can prepare myself for it again!

Any advice experience would be much appreciated X

Hi, There must already be concerns if you are having your HCG measured. I'm sorry you're having to go through all this and have my fingers and toes cossed for you.
Ar far as I know a one of measurment tells you nothing and what will give you usefull informaton is how much this increases by in the next couple of days.
In the attached chart they are within normal levels.
So fingers crossed for a good increase and a heartbeat next week!

It could also be that you are just a little earlier than originally thought? Or do you definately know when you ov'd?

Hi, just thought I'll share some of my experience - both being pregnant and working in a busy acute Gynae ward.

The level of B-HCG monitoring or test would only be useful in the firt trimester. Secondly, one measurement of B-HCG would also not tell you much apart from you are pregnant. The reason why we'd do B-HCG is to monitor the viability of the pregnancy. If everything is okay with the baby, your hormone level should double up in 48 hour. As long as it doubling, regardless whether it should be high, then it is quite reassuring. So, dont worry too much about the level :-)
