miscarriage after taking clomid

hi, just wondering if this has happened to anyone out there? after 2 yrs ttc took clomid 50mg and worked first time. everything was fine, went for scan at 10 wks was told there was no heartbeat. baby died 9 wks.that was june. now on 2 try of clomid. please some sucess stories x x x

this happened to me. I have no idea if the Clomid was to blame, apparently there isn't really a proven link to an increased risk of miscarriage with clomid.

Oh I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss after such a long time. Sometimes life just seems downright cruel doesn't it? I hope you're taking good care of yourself.

I'd also appreciate lots of success stories! I can't get enough of them quite frankly. I personally know of a fair few clomid babies and there seems to be as many successful pregnancies as there are miscarriages from what I can gather - much the same as with any other pregnancy. I have also been TTC number 2 for nearly 2 years and, after a lot of tests, am sort of hopeful that clomid is the next step. I am battling with the pros and cons of taking it at the moment, though. I'm not sure how I'd deal with another loss at this stage, but I'm not sure how else to move forward.
