been having a lot of pinkish discharge, contacted doctor and he examined my stomache muscles and said they where soft...what does that mean?? doctor have told me he will organise a scan and contact me later today to tell me what time. still want to know what the pink discharge and soft stomache muscles mean??? also had 2 miscarriages previous to this pregnancy

Sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time.

No idea what the soft stomach muscles mean, have never heard that one before.

The discharge may be linked to a m/c but lots of women have discharge or bleeding throughout their pregnancies and everything is fine.

How far along are you?

im only 7 weeks gone but with previous history im worried.

im all to aware that bleeding/discharge can mean miscarriage but i also know women can have healthy pregnancies with bleeding, for example y sister bleed althrough her pregnancy and now has a gorgeous lil girl.

Sorry you are going through this welshmummy.

I have had 7mc's and my heart always sinks whenever i see any kind of spotting or discharge. At 7w eeks i would imagine your stomach muscles will be soft as baby and uterus is still pretty low down.

If you are in South Wales, I can reccomend the heath early preg unit, they have been fantastic with me up there, I was discharged at 11 weeks but they said if I had any concerns to give them a call.

i lived in south wales but moved to england with partner 7 months ago, i was going to abergavnny (nevile hall hospital) had bad experience with them when going through last miscarriage as no one was trainned enough to give me assured answers and i was left to go through miscarriage with out medical help, was really ill and couldnt move for over a week...apparently pregnant women dont have medical needs over christmas...

doctor i saw today seemed helpful and said i could ring him anytime, just waiting now for him to contact me with scan details.

my fingers, legs and everything i can possibly cross is crossed 2 xx

aww am sorry you going through this to i had pinkish discharge with my daughter whos now 18mnth so there is all ways hope, i myself is going to the early preg unit on monday cant seem to face it this week but i wish u luck pls let us no how u get on x

been to doctors 2day co had a lot of pink discharge this morning, he didn seem to worried and reassured me a little (no pink discharge since but i've noticed it seems to happen late at night/early morning) doctor was really helpful and booked me a scan for 2moz morning so ill let you know how it went.

i am 7 weeks, had some pinkish discharge, absolutely no symptoms, 2 prev mcs, stomach feels soft and i went for a scan on tuesday and everything is fine - baby had a heartbeat. there was some blood in the uterus which gets reabsorbed in 90% of cases and is no problem, so there is definately some positive hope for you

not feeling to bad, discharge coming and going in waves but isnt as much as it was so ust wiating now for the scan and go from there...

oh and forgot to mention, had scan done baby only 5 weeks so got to wait 2 weeks for another scan and doctor had found 2 cysts :(

just an update on pregnancy...had scan done today, found the heart beat and baby said to be growing well...fingers crossed it will continue to go this way :) xx
