period after a miscarriage

hi everyone,

i suffered a MC in may and had been waiting for my period to come so we could start ttc again, so i was quite excited when 2 weeks ago it came,
it started on the sat lunch time had one bit of red flow with small clots then nothing for rest of the day then it didn't start again till the tues, my flow went from light to heavy to med all a day apart then went to spotting which it has been ever since its been 2 weeks since first sight is this normal my periods are normally between 5/7 days???

Hi so sorry to hear of your loss.
My first period went into spotting for days and then it would stop for a week and then spotting again. I went to my GP and after an internal he found i had some deep thrush and a mild infection. I would go and see your GP and just check all is well.
It can take a few weeks for your body to return to normal after a mc. Mine was last october and i feel like my body is only just settling down and my periods have only returned to the normal regular cycle in the last few months.
That doesn't mean your's won't as we are all different, i would say try again as soon as you feel ready and your periods are back to normal.
