Miscarriage or not?? What to do....

Hi I am 5+5 weeks according to my dates and have been fine until this morning, then some brown blood began which is now a fairly constant bright red flow of blood.(sorry if too detailed!).This now has the odd small (tiny) clot but when I lost a baby before I had a huge clot at only 6 weeks so I am unsure now.Midwife says too early to go to EPAU and hopefully this could be implantation bleed, just to see over a few days & then re-test using pregnancy test.Has this happened to anyone and they have been OK or does this look to be leading to miscarriage???????????

I found the birth centre unhelpful. My GP was great. She did a couple of blood tests to measure the hormones which can tell if you are having a miscarriage or not

You could try calling the EPAU directly. If you don't have the number call the hospital switchboard and they will put you through. They can do an vaginal scan for you at 5+5.

Good luck and fingers crossed.

swamp, I am in exactly same boat as you, started bleeding yesterday (i think I'm about 5weeks) had internal scan today but too early to see anthing, had blood tests and will get results monday, and am booked in for another scan on 9th of August.I'm not bleeding anymore but am fearing the worse(this is my 3rd pregnancy, my other 2 were straightforward) hope you are ok.
