only 5 wks and now brown spotting and I don't feel pregnant.
Is there any point going back to bed and moping or should I just get on with the day and accept what will be will be?

Could you go for an early scan?
It's best to rest at any rate
hope you're ok xxx

Thanks, I haven't even phoned the midwife yet as I'm so early on. I have had a MC at 7 weeks before and MW said sit it out you can't do much about it.

Don't despair - at five weeks brown spotting could just be implantation bleeding, which normally happens at five or six weeks.

And not feeling pregnant isn't necessarily a sign that there's a problem - with DS1 I felt pregnant practically from conception, but with DS2 it took till about seven or eight weeks before I felt anything different, and that was when morning sickness struck.

You are better off getting on with your day and trying to remain hopeful. Everything might yet turn out to be OK.

Thanks. You're right. I'll only brood if I don't get on with things.
