Miscarriage? Ectopic?

Hello, not posted here before but have so much going on would appreciate any information other Mumsnetters have.

I have a four year old daughter, have been trying to conceive for two years during which time I have had three early miscarriages

My last period was six weeks ago. Ten days ago I got a very strong positive pregnancy test result. After three miscarriages in which the line was never that convincing I felt really good about this one. On Thursday morning I woke with strong pains in my stomach slightly towards the left, which lasted the whole day while I sat in hospital, was scanned, blood tested etc. It felt like my last miscarriage and I knew then it was.

The pain lasted 20 hours then disappeared completely. I have had a TINY bit of brown spotting since then. HCG levels were 1400 on Thursday, 1300 on Saturday confirming that the pregnancy is not viable. But it doesn't rule out ecoptic either so going back tomorrow to see what the hormones are doing. The scan on Thursday showed a tiny smudge in the uterus which could have been the pregnancy, but also could have been some bleeding from an ectopic pregnancy.

They also discovered five new clear cysts (3-5cm diameter) that hadn't been there four weeks previously, in addition to one solid mass which I was already on a four month waiting list for. They did a CA125 test for Ovarian cancer which showed it was raised ( the interweb tells me 35 is normal, mine was 59, malignant = 65) but they seem remarkably unconcerned about this due to the fact that this test is often raised in early pregnancy, as are multiple cysts. The doctors who scanned me all thought I had had hormone treatment - looks like hyperstimulation. The cysts could also be the source of the pain, even though they are on the right and pain on left, apparently it can refer.

So loads going on and don't expect anyone to say "I had exactly that" but if anyone can offer any thoughts on:

A, recurrent early miscarriage that starts with pain and takes ages to actually bleed. Especially anyone who has had multiple miscarriages after having a child already (she took just two months two conceive).

B, ectopic pregnancy that starts with pain that then completely disappears and is accompanied by only the tiniest brown spotting

C, The CA125 test or the weird thing of suddenly having a load of cysts.

D, how to deal with the disappointment.

I don?t ask much! Thanks so much

Hi, I'm really sorry you're going through this .

I don't have much advice I'm afraid, I just wanted to bump your message up so someone who knows more than me will see it.

I had a missed miscarriage back in January and that had (as it turns out) started to fail at around 6 weeks, but it took until 10 weeks for any spotting to happen (which is how I found out).

The disappointment.....I guess it's just one day at a time. Thinking of you.
