Middle Schools in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

Looking for honest reviews from parents of children that are at/have been at the following schools:

St John’s CofE Middle School (Academy)
Parkside Middle School
Aston Fields Middle School

I’ve done my research on the statistics for progress etc but I’d really like some actual qualitative reviews if anyone has any please 🙏🏻

My two went to Aston Fields and it was a great school, still is.
St John’s is great and is where my nephews went and is part of the academy that my school is in (I’m a teacher).
Parkside is also a good school. I send children there each year who I have taught.
It depends where you live and which is your catchment school as they are usually full each year.
Does your child have any additional needs? Parkside has an autism base.

We have been given a space at one of the above.

A friend who has children at one of the other 3 mentioned schools (not the same one my child is going to), was saying that a lot of people with children at different schools to my friend’s children have then opted for their second child to go to the same one my friend’s children are at because they’ve not been happy with the school their first child went to and I’m panicking a bit now incase one of those schools people aren’t happy with is the one we are going to. Sorry hope this makes sense as I’m obviously trying not to give confidential information away.

I also saw some reviews on a website about the school my child is going to and apparently there’s a lot of bullying there 🫤
