School doesn't take feedback seriously

The school my child goes to always sends friendly newsletters, any problems or concerns come and speak to us, but whenever I've brought something up it just gets completely swept under carpet, not responded to and not followed up. Is that normal of all schools?

It really depends on the item... bullying or misconduct they absolutely should but they tend to get a lot of nonsense feedback as well which they do ignore.
