We are moving to the Nottingham area for my husbands work and although have some discretion on where we purchase. We have our heart set on Ranby house/ Worksop college for the children and wondered if anyone can anyone help us with advice on where is best to live to be less than 30 mins away each where but not totally cut off? I have had some previous advice to go towards Newark rather than the Mansfield area but looking at properties it seems to all merge when I am looking on right move . Can anyone recommend a nice area with good transport links around the Ranby House area? There seems to be a lot of lovely countryside about but we are coming from a large city so don’t want to be too remote. We don’t have a large budget about £450k for a 3 bed but we are hoping we can make it work on that. Any ideas would be welcome!
