Lode Heath Catchment

Hi All,
New to Mumsnet but wondering if anyone can give some advice. My DD is due to start secondary school next year. We currently live in the catchment of Lode Heath, but we are also pretty much next door to Solihull School. She is taking her 11+ next Month to try and get a place in Solihull School but I am worried if she does not get a place we will only be left with Lode Heath. I would really like her to go to Tudor Grange, Alderbrook or Arden but we are not within their catchment areas. I am also so worried about her walking a long distance on her own. I work in Leamington and am a single mum so she will have to travel to and from school alone. I have tried to look for reviews of Lode Heath to reassure my nerves that it will be okay - but cannot find any!! I think because we are out of the catchment for the ‘better’ schools we have no chance of getting in as they are oversubscribed. Does anyone have any experience of Lode Heath? Or getting into the schools where you are out of their catchment?
Thanks everyone!

Hi OP my DD goes to Arden ( we live local to that areas do she is in Yr 7 ) but one of her friends lives on Lode Lane literally opposite Lode Heath school but still goes to Arden.
I don't know how or why, but she has no siblings there already, but I do know Arden seems to take quite a few kids from outside catchment area.
For instance there are quite a few that live in Balsall Common in the Heart of England catchment but they go to Arden.
