Hi, my DD is going to Hampstead Fine Arts (only two days but I can imagine it won't work). We are not British and we chose the school because it is art and humanities oriented but I guess that maybe the school is not the best for her. She is very keen to study and give time to school and could go to a selective one, but I really dislike those systems. Plus we live in SW1 due to work, so I prefer something nearer if she is going to change at some point. I would be grateful to hear your suggestions Smile

Hi @alessandraV
I think we spoke some time ago when you were looking for a NW London School for your friend. She was going to Heathside and your daughter was at Fine Arts.
Why not give Heathside a call? They are really great and a growing school, so Year 10 next year and Year 11 the following one. I also know at the start of term the had one Year 9 Bursaries still left....so worth a call?
Good luck.
ps - agree re Fine Arts - not good :(

Hi @PipaJJ Thank you for remembering all that debate! I assure you that I gave a lot of thought to the issue of moving her to Heath. But the thing is I am far from Hampstead, the only reason I chose the school was its contents (or what I believed them to be). Since I will take her from the school, I prefer to go to a nearer one or an international. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Thank you!! 😍

Have you looked at Kensington park? It’s quite a new school but I know 2 of the teachers who went to work there and they are amazing.
