Hello lovely mums, Please can I have honest review about CLSG as my DD is very keen on this school. Visiting the school gave me impression that they give good stress on STEM which will be very good if it is correct as my DD is very much interested in science and maths. Any view on new head teacher and actual feel inside as well?

Our DD started there this year, and everything's been fine. Her year group is a lovely friendly cohort, and there is also a lot of interaction across year groups (via houses and clubs). The school management and teachers seem very experienced and approachable, and communication is good. The new Head is very eloquent, but it's probably too early to tell what her precise impact will be - she teaches English too. Maths and Triple Sciences are compulsory to GCSEs. At A Levels, there seems to be a 50/50 split in terms of girls choosing between the Sciences and Humanities/Arts, though Maths is fairly popular throughout. We're very happy with the school.
