Is 11+ or sixth forms admissions more competitive

DD is soon applying to sixth form. I've heard a lot about how competitive the 11+ is. Just get an idea of what she will face, which entry point do you think is more selective?

Sixth form more competetive as you are competing for far fewer places. For example at my DS school approx 80% of the 150 students stay for 6th form.

In my area it's incredibly difficult to get into the one state grammar school at 11 plus but fairly easy to get into 6th form as long as you have good GCSE grades.
