Teacher presents

Are you expected to give presents to teachers in Secondary school? DD about to end Y7 and not sure whether it is more of a primary school thing.,If you do get an end of year present what do you tend to get?!

It is pretty unusual, but, if you think someone has gone 'over and above' then there is no reason why you shouldn't. It's much less likely as they will have about 10 teachers, not just the one as in most Primary schools.
