Hi what do people think to their 7 year old being shown this on you tube? Actual footage and the re-enactment and then writing about what happened?

It depends on the 7 year old. I have one who would have taken it sensibly and one who would have been an anxious wreck afterwards.

She isn't actually killed in the video but I am not sure that it is appropriate viewing for a 7 year old. Surely if it were given a cinema rating it wouldn't be U?

Important part of history.

I learnt about slavery at that age. Hideous stuff happened, can't shield children from facts.
