Heathcote school in Danbury, Essex

Hi,

I am looking at Heathcote school in Danbury for both of my kids. There are some disturbing reviews from few years ago (2007, 2010).

Can anyone offer any insight based on a more recent experience? Would you chose this school for your children and why?

I have a friend who has DC there (do not live close) and he recently commented on how the children there are quite well behaved but the provision for anyone with SEN or with a high ability is minimal, and that he can talk to the teacher quite happily and regularly compared to some other schools.

Thank you very much for this. Do you know whether the school is successful in getting children to the local Grammar schools? I cannot see any academic records on their website.
