After what seems like forever, I've just started on kliofem today.
Anyone else? Or anyone any experience of it?

My last period was almost 15 months ago but had been every 11 months for a couple of years. Hot flushes have come and gone over the years but have been back for about 7 months now. More recently I've had several episodes of anxiety and I get lots of aches and pains so hoping this will help.

Now I need to overhaul the diet!!
I'm 44 btw

Well have been on Kliofem now for eight months and I have in the last three weeks started to lose a huge amount of hair. My hair is now half the thickness it was and my scalp feels like it is burning. My energy levels have crashed and I have gained a fair amount of weight which has resulted in more unwanted side effects. The pains in my legs which I thought may have been due to clots has stopped so no longer an issue. Last month I had several small bleeds throughout the month but nothing heavy to account for the loss of energy I'm feeling. I am also hypothyroid and my specialist did mention that now I'm on HRT he might have to alter my dose so could be that. I don't think this Hrt is suitable for me and am now trying to see a woman health practitioner to replace the Kliofem.

gosh I'm so glad I found this thread. I had been taking tibolone finally after suffering 10 years of the menopause from hell. I found after a few years it wasn't working as well. Gp suggested kliofem so I went straight on it. 6 months in i started sore boobs period pains and a bleed, I'm 61 this October for gods sake. Panicked the life out of me, thought it must be cancer. Called GP who was useless but is sending me for internal and external scan next week. Reading all these im now praying its the Hrt. I've had to come straight off it so will probably plunge back into menopause hell but rather that than the bleeding. I hadn't bled since I was 46!! Anyone else out there bled suddenly after years?

I didn’t have a period for 4 years, got the night sweats etc, I started Kliofem just under 2 month ago, just finishing my 2nd wheel and I have been bleeding for 6 weeks now, I feel drained and fed up, is it safe to just stop taking them?

I was told by my GP to stop taking until after my scan tomorrow but tbh I've been off them 10 days and feel so much better. I'm going to see how nany symptoms of menopause I get back and maybe go back on Tibolone again

Hello, Very happy to see this thread. I was on progesterone pills and gel for years (I'm 55) which worked fine. Then I had intermittent bleeding, enough to terrify me. Have had two hysteroscopies (no picnic), which showed nothing "sinister'.. Eventually, I was put on Kilofem (6-7 weeks ago). Have been bleeding fairly heavily for 4 weeks now, and feel really rubbish. Very tired, low, devoid of energy. Have been wondering whether to ditch K and return to the other HRT which at least didn't make me feel like this. Would people advise me to stick with K? Thanks.

I was changed to kliofem 2mg in September because of supply problems. I was on elleste duo 2mgs. I haven't had any problems with this - healthexpress.co.uk/kliofem
