Inspired by this thread, (thanks to Leanne!) a couple of us were thinking of going camping with children near the Forbidden corner.

So what say you all? Anyone fancy a camping trip 24th-25th July?

long way for me to come now, I'm afraid - about 10,500 miles too far!

Mind you, if you ever fancy camping in the Watagan mountains, let me know!

ooh am going to forbidden corner for friends dd's birthday that weekend.

It's amazing, have you been before?

I may be interested if I pass my driving test!

  • if you happen to have a Tardis up your sleeve, for sure you'll make it back by Monday! Or a Star Trek transporter - God, what I wouldn't give for one of those! Instant movement back to the UK, none of this sitting on planes for endless hours...

Tell you what though, the Forbidden Corner looks like a lot of fun - next time we are back in the UK, I think we'll be giving it a go!

I live in York, wouldn't be able to camp that weekend unfortunately, as have to work some of it

not really sure where to camp around there, although I'm sure there are loads of options

sounds like a fantastic idea. depending on where you want to camp and how much you want to spend there is a lovely site near Ripon called Slenningford Watermill.

gigglewitch · 07/07/2010 21:18

At this stage it would be anywhere we can get enough pitches in one place imho

bumping to see if anyone's around
