WIGAN - regular meet/walk?

There seems to be quite a few MNers in and around the Wigan area. Would anyone fancy starting a regular once a month meet at Haigh hall or anywhere else that is free to enter (parking 1 pound) Pennington flash is also good. It is just that there are some reasonable walks there and boy do I need some exercise as I now look like I am 6months pregnant even though baby is 9mths.

I would be interested, I'm not saying that I could make it every month if you made this a monthly thing, but I would love to come occasionally.

Depends on what day tho' as I work Mon - Fri!

I would be up for this, we love Haigh Hall, DH goes off to play golf, me and the kids go and play in the playground and run amok getting dirty!!!!

I was thinking weekdays but if others prefer weekend then no problem .

I would have a bit of trouble getting there during the week, at the moment. Due my own car sometime in september, so after then no probs!!

I would prefer during the week actually, something to do when the kids are at school, and DH is only home at the weekend so i can't really leave him to go off on my own!!

Well let's see if anyone else is interested.
