Would anyone be interested in a Northern Ireland meet up?

oops, sorry tee, yes doing better today, dressed with hair and make-up done and forced myself to leave the house, only got to my mums but it was still better than my own four walls. hopefully normal service will be resumed soon.

Tee2072 · 19/08/2010 07:17

Just take it one day at a time booyhoo. Smile

No, I don't think we have picked a time. Do we want to do it over lunch or more of a morning coffee thing?

Botty I think WKMS or Dingdong would be very happy to lend you a baby. Grin

booyhoo · 19/08/2010 11:57

morning coffe would suit me better wrt school pickup time. but go with the majority vote.

Tee2072 · 19/08/2010 14:08

Makes no difference to me. And I now remember that a lot of people asked if we could earlier due to the school run.

Maybe 10ish?

booyhoo · 19/08/2010 14:15

ten is good for me. also from experience of softplay, most of them are quieter at that time which would be good for those of us with smaller babies and toddlers. they seem to fill up coming up to lunchtime.

mumoffourgirls · 19/08/2010 14:33

Going to try my best to make it to this one, DD number 3 starts P1 on 8th, so that just leaves me and DD number 4..Smile

dingdong3 · 19/08/2010 16:54

Tee you took the words right out of my mouth (in a Meatloaf kind of way!). Botty can have both of mine and I'll sit in a quiet corner by myself! Bliss!

Looking forward to it and 10 will be great - I'll prob head straight over after school run so will be there at 9.30'ish..

Soooo lonely over in England atm....DH in London for a couple of days...couldn't get any locals to meet up with me so have spent the day in the house with the kids - no car, no double buggy, no toys, SIL home in an hour thankfully! Miss you all Smile

booyhoo · 19/08/2010 19:56

i have a feeling botty will regret asking that!! i too have a baby you may have for the day, heck the week if you like.

bottyburpthebarbarian · 19/08/2010 21:10

I will take anyones babies.

I am feeling bereft.

My DS1 is 20 tomorrow

I feel old.

WhenKevinMetSadie · 19/08/2010 22:32

Hello all!

Haven't been on in a while; RL caught up! Being back to work is keeping me busy & out of mischief Smile

Still hoping to make it on the 10th, and botty, tee is right, I would be more than happy to loan you a baby Grin In fact, I'm gonna print out your post above & bring it with me on the day! I'll even let you choose; 2year old girl or 8month old boys!

booy, hope you're doing OK.

Getting excited about brother's wedding as my dress arrived today! And tee, got the boys sorted with wee chino trousers & wee white polo shirts & tank tops. They are very cute and they'll get the wear out of them again.

TLC, I have found our ideal house, so if you find a good estate agent, send them my way! I need someone that will get a good price for our ramshackle little shoebox!

bottyburpthebarbarian · 19/08/2010 22:44

Ohhhh babies

Grin

Am deffo gonna make it this time. No man to distract me lol

booyhoo · 19/08/2010 23:26

yes WKMS, I am progressively better each day. i even wore make up yesterday. Grin

those little outfits sound gorgeous. when is the wedding? you'll have to take pics and bring them to the meet.

Tee2072 · 20/08/2010 07:16

Wait, Botty, am getting confused by name changes. You were with MrFlashCar? Is that you? And you're not any more? Or am I totally confused??!?!

WKMS that sounds adorable! What is girl child wearing?

bottyburpthebarbarian · 20/08/2010 07:45

Tee that's me. See my other thread on here I have a RL stalker will explain all when I see you all

TakeLovingChances · 20/08/2010 12:46

Botty a stalker! Eek! Happy 20th to your DS.

Boo hope you're ok and have forgiven me slagging off bank workers! Confused

WKMS I am not even looking near an estate agent atm as we couldn't afford a house for a LONG TIME. The negative equity on our current house is enough to bring tears to my eyes. Give us 5 years and we'll think about moving... Where are you thinking of moving to?

booyhoo · 20/08/2010 15:59

Grin ha, nothing to forgive, you speak the truth. i am good today, that god exp saw sense and agreed to close joint account so i am no longer financially tied to him.

Tee2072 · 20/08/2010 16:37

Yikes, botty! Sorry to hear you are having trouble. But YIPPEEE at your other news!!!!

booy that is good news.

My little man took two whole steps yesterday without holding on. I think he'll be running by the time we meet up! Grin

booyhoo · 20/08/2010 16:45

wow. go little tee!!!

bottyburpthebarbarian · 20/08/2010 17:33

When we meet up I will be nearly a university student!!!!

How chuffed am I

TakeLovingChances · 20/08/2010 20:11

Cool botty what you studying?

I'm a 'mature' student too (at the ripe old age of almost 26).

You should be very chuffed with yourself :)

bottyburpthebarbarian · 20/08/2010 23:00

TLC - Law at Magee

What are you doing?

bottyburpthebarbarian · 20/08/2010 23:06

PS Am positively ancient compared to you - ssshhhhh - 40!!!

TakeLovingChances · 21/08/2010 04:12

Lol, Botty, that sounds cool!

Sort of similar to myself actually.... I've been doing a Social Work degree since 2008, took a year out there to have DS and am due to go back in Jan 2011 to pick up where I left off in 2nd year.

You'll be great at Magee. Well done you :)

bottyburpthebarbarian · 21/08/2010 07:04

TLC my friend went back as a mature student and did social work - she loves it

I cannot wait to meet all of you Grin

Tee2072 · 21/08/2010 07:37

Botty, a mere child you are! I'm over half way to 42!! Grin
