He seems to be all better, thanks for asking booyhoo.

Although now he seems to have heat rash....

PlumBumMum · 13/07/2010 19:38

Helloooooooo

This dropped off on me!

mumoffourgirls · 14/07/2010 12:43

Rain forecast for the next week or so, what about an indoor meeting in an adventure playground only have to pay for DCs to get in. For those with a bump and no other DCs you could meet another mum outside and come in with them and their DC`s.

mollycuddles · 14/07/2010 12:59

I'll try to come next time too. I pulled out at the last minute last time but good job as halfway through the morning I developed vertigo and started vomiting - would have been a nightmare if I'd been out. I'll keep an eye on this for the details of the next one.

PlumBumMum · 14/07/2010 15:51

Haven't any ideas, I'm crap at things like that

Mollycuddles is your name made from your dd's name if so, I have one too

PlumBumMum · 14/07/2010 15:53

iamfabregasted was wondering how I was going to recognise you

Tee2072 · 16/07/2010 09:17

My wonderful DH picked up the Kids Summer Guide yesterday.

There is nothing to do that doesn't cost oodles, is appropriate for all ages and/or isn't over yet!

I know parking is awful, but the lawn outside the Museum worked last time....

PlumBumMum · 16/07/2010 19:03

Tee I was thinking the same,

my dcs want a trip to the museum anyway so I could go in the morning and then come outside for picnic/cafe if raining what ever time we are meeting!

LittleMissSnowShine · 19/07/2010 13:05

Saw GP this morning and breech baby has finally turned and head is starting to engage. He's pretty sure that I'm more like 36 weeks plus, instead of 34 so instead of having 5/6 weeks to go, it looks more like 3/4

Not a big difference but having a bit of a panic today trying to get lots of things organised I was hoping to put off for a week or two!!

Bottom line is, though, that I prob won't be at the next meet up lol. Maybe the one after Hope everyone is well!

Tee2072 · 19/07/2010 14:58

Good Luck Littlemissnowshine!!! We'll be rooting for ya!

So...are we meeting on 30th?!?!?! Anyone? Anyone?

PlumBumMum · 19/07/2010 18:28

Good news Littlemiss that baby has turned and you'll be seeing it sooner than expected is good too once you get over shock!

Well I went to the new park today really busy that probably be better for back to school but then I will have nobody to bring

Only thing is ds has a summer scheme thing next week so work away and I will see what I can do!

TakeLovingChances · 20/07/2010 16:43

Hello ladies

I came on here wondering about MamaMary. Anyone seen tell of her recently? She have her baby yet?

LittleMissSnow I'm rooting for you! Time will fly in, then after all the tears and blood (sad but true) you'll be a proud lady holding your wee bundle of joy. I can't believe it was only 5 months ago that baby C was born; feels like we've had him forever!

In terms of meet-up I'm free on 30th. Will meet pretty much anywhere. Will keep checking back to see who else is going.

PlumBumMum · 20/07/2010 16:46

waves to TLC

Mumoffourgirls, have you been to the park yet, we went yesterday OMG it was bunged but the dcs loved it, I thought it was brilliant too

mumoffourgirls · 20/07/2010 18:23

Hi PlumBumMum, havent got to the park yet we have been away for a few days and heading off again tommorrow camping, will definately get to the park when we get back. My sister went last week said it was fantastic and really busy and my mum went yesterday and took my neice and nephews and my little one with her she said it was really good and the attendants were throwing out any teenagers that were just hanging around..

PlumBumMum · 20/07/2010 18:36

good to hear I did get abit paniced when ds didn't come out the bottom of the big slide when I realised bigger ones had blocked it, so must say was getting abit about the amount of stuff teenagers were hogging while little ones queued up

WhenKevinMetSadie · 20/07/2010 23:57

Hello all, busy few weeks for me so haven't been on MN much.

Had DTs christened 2 weeks ago, had a lovely day.

Also had a little break in Fermanagh, no holidays further afield for us this year with a toddler & 7month old twins.

Also preparing for my return to work in 2 weeks time.
Thankfully have negotiated 3 day week which will ease the pain.

Should be able to make the next meet up. Any plans for venue yet? Hoping to bring DD this time as well.

PlumBumMum · 21/07/2010 17:39

So whats happening then?

We need somebody to take the bull by the horns

Tee2072 · 22/07/2010 09:11

Okay, I had another thought. The Belfast Taste and Music Festival is at Botanic from 4 - 8th August. The brochure doesn't specifically list anything for kids, but I can't imagine there won't be entertainers and things.

The admission is £5 for adults, 1/2 price for kids 6 - 12 and free 5 and under.

I was hoping they had arranged parking, but there is nothing on the site about it.

It starts at 12 each day, but I thought maybe we could meet earlier, as some wanted to, hang out for a bit on the lawn in front of the museum and then go to the festival.

I was thinking we could go on the Friday.

iamfabregasted · 22/07/2010 09:20

Awh I'll be away on holidays then

will have to bore regale you all with photos when I get back

And I now have long blonde hair all the way down my back - think total rock chick lmao

TakeLovingChances · 22/07/2010 09:30

Tee did you go to the Belfast Taste thing last year? I went with my dad and sister, it was almost a farce!

Gates opened late despite huge queues, pay £5 in then have to pay daylight robbery prices for food once inside. The food was nice however, but a rip-off.

I didn't have Baby C back then so I wasn't specifically looking for 'kid friendly' areas. But from my memory I don't remember seeing anything set up for the kids, they were just running around with their carers.

It's a good idea, but I'm not keen after last year. Also if it rains we're buggered cuz there's no cover

TakeLovingChances · 22/07/2010 10:25

By the way, I so far haven't come up with any alternative ideas, so I can't say much!

I think it'd be helpful to know who can meet and when.

So, if we're still going for the original plan of Fri 30th July (?) then yes, 5 month old baby C and I will be there.

Anyone else? Anyone?

Tee2072 · 22/07/2010 11:14

No, I've never been Takelovingchances. Last year I had a 2 month old and any year before that I was working!

30th July still sounds good to me. And I do think we should just meet in the same place.

Unless someone comes up with a new idea....

TakeLovingChances · 22/07/2010 13:10

Tee, I agree about the date and same place as last time. Easy to get to and pretty central.

Still don't know who else is up for it 100%, apart from you and I!

Come on folks, speak up!!

PlumBumMum · 22/07/2010 14:20

ds has summer scheme thing from 10 to 12 next week so I'm out

SIL went to festival last year Tee (the one that had the baby the same day as you), she said it was alright as TLC said, she thought it was a rip off paying in then paying again for the food.

iamfabregasted I think I seen a thread about this holiday is this with Mrfancytransport, you lucky thing, I demand you arrange a meet up to fill us all in!

TakeLovingChances · 22/07/2010 14:26

PlumBum I don't think we'll be meeting until the afternoon, around lunchtime.... would that suit you and DS?
