Hi,

we (me, my husband and little one) have been in Saffron Walden for 5 months now and I am looking to meet up with other mums locally for friendships and fun little companions for my 28 month old chatty, sociable boy. As I work full time I am finding it hard to meet mums -- but there must be other mums out there - working or not!

I am usually available for meet ups at the weekend and would enjoy hearing from you as a way of building relationships locally.

thanks for your help rubyrubyruby! Where are you based then? I'll have a go with the thread....this is bonkers though, i have been told time after time SW is full of families and young children - where are they!

Hiya, I'm in SW!!! We moved here 2 years ago from London and even though we've met lots of great people I still miss all my old pals! So I'm always happy to make new friends, for me and my little boy who is 20months. x

Good to hear from you! We have also left friends behind and whilst we are keeping in touch, it'd be good to make local connections. it's really good of you to post as this is an interesting way of meeting people, but not a method that I am used to!! So where do we go from here then?!

I work F/T but have some flexibility in the week as I am also at home. my little one is at the high school nursery -- does your little boy go at all?
