I'm in my late 20's, horsey, have a 14 month old daughter and am pregnant again due in November. Anyone else out there like me and fancy doing fun stuff in afternoons with the kids?

Hi

I have a 14 month old son, and am due again in July-we are always looking to go out and about in the afternoons-

Where abouts in Surrey are you?

BearBear1981 · 17/04/2010 17:36

Near Epsom/ Reigate. How about you?

Hi

We are in Epsom.

Have you lived here long? We only moved here six months ago, after being in Dubai for seven years so it would be lovely for my son (and me!) to make some new friends.

Lived here for 3 years. Moved from Chelsea but am country girl born and bred.

Do you work? What are your interests? Would be good to meet a like-minded mummy for fun things to do!! I tried to contact you on the contact poster link but it won't let me...

Maybe you can try and contact me so we can arrange to do something with the kids?

brief hijack
elleni how did you settle back into life in the UK after so long in Dubai? I'm in KSA having been here nearly 5 years and currently thinking of returning to the UK in the summer but struggling to decide. Not sure how I'll settle in and whether I'll really regret it and miss the lifestyle/sun.

BTW, I'm not far (when I'm in the UK) from you ladies, I'm just over the border in Sussex and go to Reigate a lot as DD1 is at school there

Hi

It took a while to settle back-but we didnt time it very well, as arrived just in time for winter and Dubai weather was just cooling down. There is lots going on for children here, more so than Dubai. The obvious benefit is having family around to babysit(although they are still a few hours away). I do miss my friends in Dubai though and found it harder to meet people-that and the beach and pool! But have met lots of nice peeople through sites like this.

How old are your children? What has made you think about coming back?
