I have DS aged 13 months and no mummy friends really (we blazed the trail in our group of friends). Are there any meetups near me??

Regular ones in Brighton, and I think some mnetters in shoreham? Maybe look up old threads? Not local any more myself, but met some of the Brighton lot, under another name, and they're lovely.

Hiya flootshoot.

I'm about to move to Hove with my DP and 15 month old DS. I went to a Brighton Mnet meet-up for the first time just the other week, and I had a really nice time, I'm glad I went. AFAIK there isn't another one planned yet, but they're a friendly bunch and they seem to meet up quite often I think Here's the thread about the last one

The meet-ups tend to be without the DCs though. I wonder if you might fancy maybe meeting up and taking the little ones for a toddle along the beach or something? I know quite a few people in Brighton, but like your mates, they're mostly not parents.

I'll next be in Hove in a few weeks time, not sure exactly when yet though.

lowrib that sounds lovely. Whereabouts in Hove are you moving to? I live in South Portslade but moving to Hangleton soon (if all goes well fingers crossed).

Let me know!

We'll be near Hove station, for the moment at least.

I was trying to work out the dates we'll be there just now but DS got obsessed with trying to steal my pen off me and I'm just too tired to argue today so I put the calendar away.

Off to do bedtime, I'm in danger of falling asleep myself!

Made it through bedtime without falling asleep (Only just though!)

I think I'll be down for a couple of weekends in April, and then most likely actually moving mid-May.

A child-friendly met-up seems to be cooking. Have a look at this thread.

Would you be up for coming along? I know very few mums in the area and I'm really up for this kind of thing. What do you think?

Hi lowrib, have answered your other thread - all sounds like a plan to me!

Think I am out on 1st May but any other weekend is good.
