Hi, I am new to mumsnet but was recommended by a friend to join, my husband has taken a new job and we are relocating to Bristol within the next 4 weeks, we have 2 boys 1.5 and 2.5 can anyone help with toddler groups and basic knowledge of the area? we are renting for 6-12months until we find the right house/area to commit to. I will be giving up work (only been back for 10months and working part time) so would like to join as many groups as possible to meet people.
Look forward to your responses.

Hi, if you could let us know which area you would be living in we would be able to help you.

bratnav · 30/03/2010 16:14

There is a group of us MNers that meet at the museum at the top of Park St every Friday morning at 10 onwards, you would be more than welcome
to join us.

If you let us know which area you will be in we can probably offer loads of info :-)

Also 'Titch Hikers Guide' is a great book that has loads of details of groups and things to do with kids in and around Bristol.

Ring Family Services at the Council. They will give you a list of the many Children's Centres in your area. They all run loads of groups.

hiya lindsay, long time no hear. Coming for coffee on Friday?

bloomfield babies, there's another thread here about moving to Bristol, it's obviously the place to be. Be careful where you move to! I live in Horfield which I like.
